Several Injured As Fog Leads To 7-Car Pile-Up On Haryana Highway

Due to fog, at least seven vehicles collided near Aurangabad village in Yamunanagar earlier today, the police stated, news agency ANI reported.

According to the police, injured persons were admitted to the hospital.

Asking people to drive slowly, the police said: “10-15 vehicles may have collided but we can 7-8 here. I appeal to people to drive slowly as it’s foggy these days,” ANI reported.

Earlier this month, two passengers were killed when a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus collided with seven other vehicles in Maharashtra’s Nashik district.

According to an official, the accident had occurred near Palse village on the Nashik-Pune route.

According to him, an MSRTC bus travelling from Rajgurunagar in Pune to Nashik had a brake failure and collided with four motorcyclists and two SUVs before colliding with another MSRTC bus travelling from Sinnar.

Locals smashed the bus’s windows and saved all 43 people, he added.

Two fire tenders from Nashik Road fire station and one rescue vehicle from Shingada Talao fire station were dispatched to the scene, and the fire was extinguished, according to a police officer.

On October 8, a private bus caught fire after colliding with a vehicle on the Nashik-Aurangabad highway in the Nashik district, killing 13 and injuring 35.
