Sara Ali Khan and Vikrant Massey starrer ‘Gaslight’ set to have an OTT release:

Sara Ali Khan‘s last film ‘Atrangi Re’ had released on OTT and Sara got a lot of love for her performance in the film. The actress also has some interesting line-up of movies ahead. Sara will be seen next alongside Vicky Kaushal in Laxman Utekar’s next. The actress also has ‘Gaslight’ along with Vikrant Massey.

As per a latest report in Peepingmoon.com, the makers of ‘Gaslight’ have opted for an OTT release of the film. This year, many films which seemed out of the box or of a moderate budget have opted for a digital release, for instance Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Freddy’. Hence, it doesn’t come as a surprise now that the makers of ‘Gaslight’ have decided for an OTT release. Since, the audience really wants something larger-than-life to go to the theatres now. As per the report, the film will release on Disney+Hotstar.

‘Gaslight’ is a psychological thriller which is slightly edgy and hence may not appeal to the mass audiences. Hence for a better financial safety of the film, OTT seemed like feesable option. One can expect the film to release in January 2023.

Sara also has another OTT project announced with Karan Johar, titled ‘Ae Watan’.

Meanwhile, another big movie, Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Govinda Naam Mera’ is set to release tomorrow.
