‘RRR’ music director MM Keeravani’s mother Bhanumathi passes away

Tollywood’s ace music director MM Keeravani’s mother Bhanumathi passed away on Wednesday, December 14. She was reportedly suffering from various age-related health issues and had been admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad. She breathed her last while undergoing the treatment.

According to reports, Bhanumathi’s mortal remains will be kept at SS Rajamouli’s home for paying last respects. For the unversed, MM Keeravani is the cousin of ‘RRR’ director SS Rajamouli. Sources suggest her last rites will take place at Maha Prasthanam crematorium later in the day. Condolences have been pouring in for Bhanumathi, and fans flooded social media to offer condolences to the ‘RRR’ music director.

Keeravani bagged the LA Film Critics award for a best music director for his stint in ‘RRR’. The SS Rajamouli directorial has been nominated for the Best Non-English Language Film and Best Original Song for the track ‘Naatu Naatu’. Keeravani’s father Siva Shakthi Datta was a well-known lyricist and screenwriter in Tollywood. His uncle Vijayendra Prasad is also a film writer. Vijayendra Prasad provides stories for all Rajamouli movies. Keeravani is in charge of music, and his wife Srivalli is supervising production affairs. Rajamouli’s wife Rama takes care of the costume designer’s work.
