Rohit Shetty says Ajay Devgn’s ‘Singham Again’ will be 10 times bigger than Akshay

Rohit Shetty is gearing up for the release of his comedy ‘Cirkus’ this Friday, and he is also getting locked and loaded to get this third ‘Singham’ film rolling.

Titled ‘Singham Again’, the film will see Ajay Devgn returning in the lead role as the no-nonsense cop who kicked off Bollywood’s first cop universe. Rohit, in his latest interview, revealed that he is excited to start work on the film as he says the script has ‘turned out very well’. Speaking to an entertainment portal, Pinkvilla, Rohit revealed that fans of the cop franchise can expect the film to be a ‘larger than life’ flick. “We took it to a different level in Sooryavanshi and this is like 10 times bigger than Sooryavanshi,” Shetty told the portal.

The director also revealed that his ‘Cirkus’ star Ranveer Singh ‘had goosebumps’ when he narrated the script to him. Confirming the actor’s return as his character Simmba in the film, he also claimed that the cop action flick will ‘give you a high’.

“I get excited about a film very rarely and Singham Again is that one script after so many years which I am excited to start the film,” he said.

Ranveer also shared his honest reaction to the film’s script and revealed that fans have a lot to look forward to. The actor, who claimed that he was on his feet and applauding the director for his narration, predicted that there will be pandemonium in cinema halls when certain scenes play out on the big screen.

‘Singham Again’ is slated to go on floors in April 2023.
