Realme has unveiled its latest addition to the budget-friendly Realme C-series smartphone lineup, the Realme C51. Priced below Rs 10,000, this smartphone boasts a 6.7-inch IPS LCD panel with a fast 90Hz refresh rate and 33W fast charging. Realme is emphasizing the phone’s sleek design, measuring just 7.99mm in thickness, which sets it apart from competitors in its price range. In India, Realme already offers the Realme C55 and Realme C53 in the sub-Rs 15,000 category.
Realme C51 Price in India
The Realme C51 is available at a price of Rs 8,999 for the sole configuration with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It is offered in Mint Green and Carbon Black color options. Limited quantities of the Realme C51 were available earlier this week, and the official first sale is scheduled to commence on September 11.
Realme C51 Specifications
While the Realme C51 does not support 5G, it comes with a range of appealing features aimed at attracting a diverse customer base. It features a 90Hz 6.74-inch display with a 90.3% screen-to-body ratio and a peak brightness of up to 560 nits. Additionally, it incorporates the “Mini Capsule” feature, initially introduced in the Realme C55, which functions similarly to Apple’s Dynamic Island notch, adapting in size based on notifications.
Powering the Realme C51 is an octa-core Unisoc T612 SoC and a sizable 5,000mAh battery. It boasts a 50-megapixel primary AI camera with various camera app features such as Portrait Mode, Beauty Mode, HDR, Face Recognition, Filters, and Bokeh Effect Control, among others. The Realme C51 also includes a 5MP selfie camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 5P lens.
One standout feature of the Realme C51 is its support for 33W SuperVOOC charging. Realme claims that it can charge up to 50% in just 28 minutes and reach a full charge in roughly an hour. The charger is included in the box.
Additionally, Realme recently introduced the Realme C53 in India, featuring a 108-megapixel camera and priced under Rs 11,000. It comes in two variants, one with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage priced at Rs 9,999, and another with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage priced at Rs 10,999. The Realme C53 is powered by the Unisoc T612 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery. It runs on Realme UI T Edition based on Android 13.
Realme is also set to refresh its Narzo series, with the launch of the Realme Narzo 60X 5G scheduled for September 6, along with the possibility of more product launches in the near future.
