Nora Fatehi has filed a defamation case against Jacqueline Fernandez for the remarks made by the latter. This was with regards to the 200 crore money laundering case related to conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Now in a cryptic post, Nora has shared her feelings.

Nora wrote, “My parents didn’t raise me to take advantage of people, my intentions will always be pure. We ain’t the same.”

Nora’s petition, quoted by NDTV read, “A conspiracy by the accused No. 1 (Jacqueline Fernandez) to ensure the financial, social, and personal downfall of the complainant was hatched, and enacted by the said action…It has started to become evident that the aforementioned rivals being unable to compete with the complainant fairly in the industry have started to try and tarnish her reputation which would cause her loss of work and hence would open up greener pastures for her rivals in the industry”

Nora and Jacqueline have allegedly received gifts from Chandrasekhar. However, Nora has denied receiving any such gift. Recently, Nora had appeared on Malaika Arora’s show, ‘Moving In With Malaika’ and shared an incident from her struggling days. The actress recalled that when she came to India seven years ago, she worked in the background behind Malaika Arora who was the brand ambassador. From there to now where she had a face-off with Malaika on the show, she’s indeed come a long way.
