NCP Chief Sharad Pawar Receives Death Threat, Case Registered Against Unidentified Person

New Delhi: Natioanlist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar received a call from an unidentified person threatening the MP to kill him, Mumbai Police said on Tuesday, reported news agency ANI. The police have registered a case against an unidentified person and further investigation is underway. 

“An unidentified person called up NCP President Sharad Pawar’s residence at Silver Oak and threatened to kill him. A case has been registered against an unidentified person. Police registered a case under section 294,506(2) of the India Penal Code and started further investigation,” Mumbai police was quoted as saying by the news agency.
