‘KGF 2’ Hindi hits $9 million in overseas market, emerges as the highest grossing

‘KGF 2’ Hindi is on a record breaking spree and its latest achievement is conquering the overseas market. The film has emerged as the highest grossing Hindi film in overseas market. The film has hit the $9 million mark reports Boxofficeindia. With this firgure, ‘KGF 2’ Hindi has beat the collection of ‘83’ and ‘Sooryavanshi’. The film has reached the end of its theatrical run and may not cross the $10 million mark.

‘KGF 2’ Hindi currently stands at a total of Rs 560 crore and is expected to rake in close to Rs 580-590 crore. With this kind of business, this film will earn a spot in the top five Hindi worldwide grossers ever. ‘KGF 2’ Hindi earned $2.6m in the Australian market, emerging as the third biggest Hindi film ever there after ‘Padmaavat’ and ‘Dangal’. While the North America market added $3.30 million and Gulf added $2.1 million to the film’s collection. In United Kingdom too, ‘KGF 2’ Hindi has performed well and crossed £500k.

Directed by Prashanth Neel, ‘KGF 2’ stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty and Prakash Raj in lead roles. Interestingly, this entertainer recently set another record as it became the first Kannada film to be screened in South Korea.
